The power is found not only in what the promise IS — Christ’s righteousness applied to us by grace as a free gift. But because of WHO backs up the promise! The power is the very righteousness of God Himself!
No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised. — Romans 4:20–21
This week, Paul got us asking some hard to hear questions. But we need to wrestle in these spaces if we are truly going to be trained to take the good news to a depressed and distracted world.

How much of your salvation do you feel you need to earn? How much of it are you trying to earn? What are you placing on others?
How much do you think God owes you?
How come sola fide is so elusive to your spirit?
