ENGAGE IN THE CALL

Pray for our missionaries abroad!

In addition to our ministry partners of 10+ years in Costa Rica, and our newer missionary friends in Kenya and Pakistan, Taylor and Fahren are our home-grown missionaries we have sent on mission as they have followed the call to be missionaries in Mexico. After completing a 6-month language school, they have now made the move to Rocky Point to join Pan de Vida (“Bread of Life”) – a program which strives to satisfy spiritual needs as well as physical hunger for the glory of Jesus. Taylor and Fahren are praying to see God transform hearts through Biblical training and life-on-life discipleship during their time in Mexico.

CrossTrain not only partners with Taylor and Fahren in this journey by supporting them from afar, but there will be opportunities for you to join in the mission as we are planning trips to Rocky Point this Spring. Click here to go to the calendar for details for the trip starting 4/28/23. Contact Doug Troyer here if you have any questions.

You can be a missionary!

You might be thinking that you are not “called” to a missionary life...but we all are if we believe God at His Word. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

Here’s what you can do right now right where you are: engage in gospel conversations! Here are some questions to help you get a conversation started:

How can I pray for you? (‘Do you need prayer?’ cards available on the front welcome table.)
How is your soul? (Sounds weird and that helps you get better conversation than with 'how are you doing?’)
What has God been teaching you?

What is God doing in your life right now?
What are you reading in the Word right now? What’s God saying to you?
How can I help you?
What would make your day better?

What leads you to think that?
How is that working for you?
What do you want?
How might that be used to bring glory to God?
Are you interested in the things of God?
What brings you joy?
What are you afraid of?
