Go and make disciples... And lo I am with you always... Matthew 28.19–20
When things changed so drastically some 5 months ago, and we were not able to gather for 10 weeks, we prayed that we would use this time to seek what the Lord was using this unique cultural moment to accomplish in our faith family. We believed that, if all we did was 'tread water 'and 'wait for this to be over' we would be in danger of missing the message He was sending. We wanted to be who the Spirit was leading us to be.
Now that we have re-gathered for 13 weeks, we have seen His refining work among us for His mission. We have NEVER been more prepared to be on the mission Christ calls us to — to make disciples that we might see His kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. And, as strange as this may sound, I have never been more excited to pastor His flock among us.
Remember, for us to be a power-filled team moving in the same direction, we all need to be on this mission TOGETHER!

Some exciting things are in store for us in the coming weeks! Be praying and asking others to join you on this journey with Jesus as we walk WITH Him through the Gospel of Matthew in our D-Groups this fall season.
