When was the last time you were listened to in a nonjudgemental, agenda-free, compassionate way?
Do you ever feel like we are just talking past one another?
That's because we have gotten really bad at listening.
As those being trained to make disciples, we need to get better at hearing hearts. Otherwise, how do we know what heart-holes need to be filled with the gospel in those God places in our lives?
What does it look like to listen with your heart?
This summer series will help us put into practice what we have been learning in Romans as we dive into 7 snippets from the Gospels that show us how Jesus interacted with people for the sake of the gospel of the Kingdom of God!
This Sunday we see how Jesus heard the heart of the Woman at the Well as we learn together how to Listen Well.
But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. — John 4:23
