Do you remember what it felt like as a child to be lost in the dark? THAT is where most of the world is living, what they are feeling, and why they are responding the way they are.
WE are left here as a remnant to help the people of the world set their sights on Jesus!
We are going into the Christmas Season by setting our sights on who Jesus claims to be in the Seven I AM statements.
This Sunday we see Him as the
I AM the Light of the World!
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” — John 8:12
With all that is going on the the world right now it is easy to lose our focus and our way. There are so many voices trying to tell us to 'look over here for help.' But there is only ONE voice that can truly lead us out of this mess here and now and bring us into the there and then of eternal glory — JESUS CHRIST!
To help us FOCUS so we can FULLY CELEBRATE the Savior's First Advent at Christmas, we will see who He claims to be — which is SO MUCH more than a baby born I a barn.
He was, and is, and is to come as the GREAT I AM..
The WORLD - and your NEIGHBOR and FAMILY and FRIENDS and COWORKERS and CLASSMATES need to get their vision corrected!
So simply tell them to "Come and see..."
AND THEN BRING THEM WITH YOU TO OUR GATHERING!

Please join with me in praying for a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit as we freshly focus our eyes on Jesus. I can think of no greater need right now. And I can think of no better way to do it than to gather as God's people and BEHOLD the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
