If God is loving, why does He judge the world?
How would you handle a bunch of willing rebels?
We look around and say things like, "I'm not that bad. At least I'm not like 'those people'." But isn't that just like that Pharisee in us all?
Paul reminds us that, compared to the glory and righteousness and holiness of God, we are all the same in our sin.
AND he shows us that it is actually God's grace that leads us to His salvation found in Christ alone.
Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? — Romans 2:4
