If our conformity to the image of Christ is God’s plan, how does this happen? If our temporal comfort is less important to God than our conformity to the glorious image of His Son for all eternity, what does that take?
Ultimately two things: A completely sovereign God and our willingness to submit to His sovereignty. Seem confusing? It won't be after we gather this weekend.
This Sunday we will be in Romans 8.28–31 yet again. If Romans 8 is the most important chapter in all of Scripture, then these four verses may be the most important verses in the Bible.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?— Romans 8:31
Remember, we are kingdom PEOPLE meant to live by kingdom POWER for kingdom GLORY.
And His glory WILL BE revealed to you!
The amazing Letter of Romans is God's clearest articulation, and Paul's great dissertation, on God's awesome plan of salvation.
This book tells us exactly why we see all that is going on in the world and our lives, what God has done about it, and what our role is.
Invite others into this walk WITH you through these anchors of the Christian faith by simply telling them to
"Come and see..." what God has to say.
