Sunday's Message: How does Jesus define being in the family of God?

We are about to turn a corner in the Gospel of Matthew. After being confronted again and again by the leaders and rejected by many people, Jesus is going to focus His time and attention on preparing those who listen for His mission of seeing His kingdom come expand by making disciples. And He starts by telling us who is in and who is out of the Family of God.

Come hear how Jesus redefines the family!

For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother. — Matthew 12:50

Our gatherings are different than most!

We gather to see God, share in the unity of the Spirit, and let our souls soak Him in SO THAT we can share Him with others.

"Come and see..." Jesus through Prayer, the Word, Communion, and Fellowship— the way Christ is meant to be seen in His church where everyone participates.

And bring someone new who needs to be part of this community.
