The Church, the Bride of Lamb, will RISE AGAIN. Yes! We will all rise to meet Him in the air when He returns in all His glory, but we will rise again here and now to REVEAL His glory to a world who needs to be reminded of all that is still good and right and wonderful in this broken world — and that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
We have been praying (and fasting) for 7 weeks for a place to GATHER for PENTECOST on May 31st. (You can read more about it in my past posts.)
After MUCH prayer and HOURS of phone calls and miles of driving 'facility-hunting' we have been blessed to be able to use the gym/multipurpose space at Southwest Indian Ministries Center located at 73rd Ave and Thunderbird. For some, the location of this temporary space will be wonderful, for others it will be bit of a burden. (It is 10 minutes due south of our current location.) But for ALL OF US — it is large, clean, little used facility that is truly PERFECT for us for now. It has plenty of tables and chairs and space to spread out or gather in — whichever you are most comfortable with.
The details of exactly how our first gathering back together will look are still being prayed over and discussed by your leadership. But, as I said in my post last Friday, as long as we lead with LOVE and extend GRACE, I have no fear that you sweet people will be able to love each other well and be able to embrace simply being together after 10 weeks apart. (We will still attempt to provide some form of 'live-stream' via Zoom and will upload the gathered time as soon as possible on Sunday after the service.) I also want to encourage you to reach out and invite into the FRamily Gathering people the Holy Spirit has connected you to in this season that are not part of a faith family that is gathering.
